This workshop was my birthday gift to my best friend and it was bull's eye! We went together after visiting the Alhambra the day before and we had some fun and interesting hours with Kate, who is fabulous. And we came back with each a nice piece too. Kate is very nice and knows perfectly well what she is doing, I came to admire her profound knowledge about this art form and her teaching skills. Me being an absolute beginner and my friend way much more artistic both found our needs met. Highly recommended for everybody.

100% recommend!

I tried to see if they were open but they had not opened for the day due to extreme weather warnings. After WhatsApping Mark, he happily volunteered to come in just for me.

I had the most amazing session. I’m sure many of us would have seen the beautiful patterns within the Alhumbra, and the class with him helped me create a very unique souvenir from Granada! Mark was friendly, informative, patient (I’m terrible with arts and craft) and very easy to talk with as we spoke about more than just the artwork, the Alhambra (and how painstaking it must have been to create these patterns on such a large scale).

This session was the highlight of my trip to Granada and definitely a must do if you’re visiting Granada.

Would definitely recommend doing this art course while you’re in Granada. I did the 3 hours introduction course. Kate was such a nice person and explained everything very thoroughly. I’m super happy with the result, it’s my personal little souvenir from my trip in Spain.

Absolutely loved taking this class and having a unique piece of art to bring home. Kate is a fantastic teacher. The space and location are beautiful. The class was about 3 hours, and included an overview of geometric patterns from the Alhambra. I loved using a compass for the first time in 20 years and relearning some watercolor basics from a pro. Definitely one of the coolest and most memorable souvenirs I will ever own. I can't recommend enough!

I can't recommend the 3 hour class enough! It was a really fun activity, both for me as a local and to share with visitors that come to Granada. Kate was very accommodating to set up a time and day that would work for us, and is a clear (and patient!) teacher. This is a unique and memorable way to appreciate the beautiful art of the Alhambra.

I spent a very pleasant 3 hours with the 2 owners of the business; Kate and Mark. They were warm and friendly and I was instantly put at ease, having very little painting ability. Kate explained the history of Moroccan geometric designs and with her guidance I made my own piece.
A really lovely way to spend an afternoon and also if you're visiting the Alhambra I'd recommend doing this first!

An excellent class, Kate and Mark are so kind and fabulous teachers. Very patient. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the Alhambra to better understand the intricate process behind the tiles and patterns. Great for families or anyone really!
